My husband and I employed Steve Avery to repoint our garden wall, a job that took place during April of this year. We found Steve to be extremely competent and he impressed us with his tidy approach and mindfulness of established planting around which he had to work.

During the past few years, ove4r which we have been gradually renovating our turn of the century home, we have needed to employ numerous tradesmen and I have to say the majority (not all) have proved to be unreliable. Contrary to this, we found Steve to be an extremely professional young man, arriving on time and always ringing in advance to confirm arrangements made.

He is a pleasant person and very polite and we would have no hesitation in using his services again and recommending him to others

I am very happy to recommend Steve Avery as a totally reliable, skilled and friendly builder. He has recently undertaken various jobs on my house in a quiet and efficient way, solving a variety of building problems to my complete satisfaction.

This included replacing the roof flashings to prevent further water damage inside the house, adjusting roof tiles, re rendering cracked walls and painting my rear wall, iron balcony and window frames.

Steve always arrived on time and took the trouble to explain what needed to be done. Cloths were put down to protect floors where needed, debris removed each day and everything left swept and tidy. I even had my windows cleaned!

I am most grateful to Steve for finishing the necessary work on time and for keeping it to the original estimate.

Steve and his co-workers have now done two major jobs for us and we could not have wished for a more caring, contentious, intelligent group of craftsmen. Best of all they discussed potential problems of which we were unaware. The pricing is fair, the work excellent and to time. There is a bonus too; they are good to have around the house. What more can you want?
